The Great Migration is the continuous annual movement of over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles between the Serengeti in Tanzania and the Maasai Mara in Kenya. The famous and dramatic Mara River crossings typically take place between July and October.
You have high chances of spotting Africa's iconic "Big Five" (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, and Rhino), along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, wild dogs, and hundreds of bird species across premier reserves like Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Amboseli, and Ngorongoro Crater.

To secure your booking and lodge reservations, a deposit (usually 30% to 50%) is required upon confirmation. The remaining balance is typically payable 30 to 45 days prior to your safari departure date. We accept international wire transfers, major credit cards, and secure online payments.
Our packages generally include full-board lodge/camp accommodation, private 4x4 safari transport with a professional English-speaking driver/guide, park and conservation entry fees, game drives, bottled drinking water in the safari vehicle, and airport transfers as specified in the itinerary.
Vehicles & Logistics
We use custom-built 4x4 Safari Land Cruisers (and 4x4 Safari Minivans upon request). All vehicles are equipped with pop-up photographic roofs for 360-degree game viewing, high-frequency two-way radios, charging sockets for cameras and phones, cool boxes for drinks, and comfortable reclining seats with seatbelts.

Health, Visas & Preparation
Kenya requires visitors to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) prior to travel via the official Kenyan government portal (etakenya.go.ke). Tanzania requires an eVisa or visa on arrival for eligible passport holders. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months with blank visa pages.
A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory if traveling from or transiting through endemic zones. We strongly advise taking malaria prophylaxis and consulting your physician or travel clinic 4 to 6 weeks before departure for routine booster vaccines (e.g. Hepatitis A/B, Tetanus, Typhoid).
We recommend comfortable, lightweight, neutral-colored clothing (khaki, beige, olive), a warm fleece jacket for chilly early morning drives, a wide-brimmed sun hat, sunglasses, high-SPF sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, camera with zoom lens, and a universal power adapter.
Yes. Whether you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose intolerant, or follow Halal or Kosher dining guidelines, our partner lodges and camps accommodate all dietary requests when notified in advance.
Tipping is voluntary but customary and deeply appreciated by the guides and lodge staff. As a general guideline: $15 - $25 per day for your driver/guide per group, and $10 - $15 per day pooled for the lodge and camp hospitality staff.
